Step 13: Attach palm rest carriers

  1. Insert two square nuts into the palm rest slot in the base plate.
  2. Place the carrier (also called the sled) on the base plate.
  3. Put an M3x6 mm screw through each slot in the carrier and into a nut. Washers are no longer needed, but you can use them for smoother sliding.
  4. Tighten gently. It takes very little to hold the carrier.
